How places were offered at Hart Primary School, year by year →
When there are more applications than places for 2027-28 (Reception), places are offered in this order of priority. Meeting a higher criterion beats meeting a lower one.
If two applications tie: In all criteria, if there are more applicants than places available then priority will be given to those children who live closest to the school as determined by a straight-line distance measurement; from the address point for the child’s home to the address point of the school, using the Local Authority’s computerised measuring system. In the event that two distance measurements are identical, the school will use random allocation to decide which child should be offered the place.
Children with an EHCP naming the school are admitted first by law, before the ranked criteria, as stated in the document but not numbered as a criterion.
Published by the admission authority. Meeting a criterion never guarantees a place — it sets the order places are offered in. Full detail, other entry points and previous years are on the Admissions tab.
Same phase, ranked by distance and how closely they match.
