When there are more applications than places for 2027-28 (Reception), places are offered in this order of priority. Meeting a higher criterion beats meeting a lower one.

Within each of the categories listed above, the following provisions will be applied in the following order. (i) The attendance of a brother or sister* at the school at the time of enrolment will increase the priority of an application within each category so that the application will be placed at the top of the category in which the application is made after children in (i) above. *‘brother or sister’ includes: all natural brothers or sisters, half brothers or sisters, adopted brothers or sisters, stepbrothers or sisters, foster brothers or sisters, whether or not they are living at the same address; and the child of a parent’s partner where that child lives for at least part of the week in the same family unit at the same home address as the child who is the subject of the application. Priority will be given to children living closest to the school determined by the shortest distance. The address to be used in measuring distance for the purpose of allocating school places will be the child’s permanent address at the closing date of 15th January 2027. Distance will be measured by Halton LA using the LAs address point system, which measures from the address point of the child’s permanent address to the address point of the school in metres. A Supplementary Information Form is required for this school and can be obtained from the school website or by contacting the school and requesting one. This must be returned to the school directly and must be submitted by no later than 15th January 2027.
