When there are more applications than places for 2027-28 (Reception), places are offered in this order of priority. Meeting a higher criterion beats meeting a lower one.
If two applications tie: Priority will be given to children living closest to the school determined by the shortest distance. Distances will be measured in a straight line from the child's home address to the main entrance of the school using eastings and northings and a computerised measuring system. ... If two or more applicants live exactly the same distance from the school, the place will also be allocated by random allocation.
Within each category, sub-priority given to: (i) exceptional social, medical or pastoral need with compelling written evidence, then (ii) sibling attendance at the school at time of enrolment. Twins/multiple births admitted where one child is last ranked within PAN.
