When there are more applications than places for 2026-27 (Year 12), places are offered in this order of priority. Meeting a higher criterion beats meeting a lower one.
If two applications tie: First preference to a 'looked after child' or previously looked after child who meets grade requirements, followed by the applicant living closest to the school by straight line distance as defined by the LA.
PAN of 200 includes existing CRGS students transferring from Year 11. Additional places are reserved for boarders; boarding applicants undergo a suitability interview. Overseas/non-National Curriculum students assessed on academic performance in current school and entrance tests as appropriate.
