When there are more applications than places for 2026-27 (Reception), places are offered in this order of priority. Meeting a higher criterion beats meeting a lower one.
If two applications tie: In the event of two or more children still living equidistant from the school, the place will be decided by drawing lots, the first name drawn will be offered the place.
Should the admission number be reached mid category, applications in that category will be prioritised on the shortest distance measured in a straight line from the point of the front entrance of the pupil's home address to the main pupil entrance of the school using the Local Authority's computerised measuring system, with those living closer to the school receiving higher priority. Children with a statement of special educational need naming the school are admitted through the statementing process and are noted separately from the numbered oversubscription criteria.
