When there are more applications than places for 2026-27 (Reception), places are offered in this order of priority. Meeting a higher criterion beats meeting a lower one.
If two applications tie: When in the case of 2, 3, 4 or 5 above, choices have to be made between children satisfying the same criteria, those children living nearest to the school (measured by straight line distance) will be given preference. Where the distance between 2 children's homes and the school is the same, random allocation will be used to decide between them. This process will be independently verified.

Looked after children (criterion 1) are prioritised ahead of other criteria. Admissions at discretion of headteacher when reviewing safety and well-being of children already on roll for criteria 1-5.
