was the furthest place offered for 2025-26 (Reception). The council's figures don't show whether anyone was refused, so it may not have been a cut-off.
Last distance offered at Corpus Christi Catholic School, year by year →
When there are more applications than places for 2027-28 (Reception), places are offered in this order of priority. Meeting a higher criterion beats meeting a lower one.
If two applications tie: If there is oversubscription within a category, the Local Governing Body will give priority to children living closest to the school determined by the shortest distance. In a very small number of cases where it is not possible to decide between applications, the Local Governing Body will select the child to be offered the place by drawing lots, overseen by a person independent to the Local Governing Body.
Parish boundaries are as shown on the Archdiocese of Birmingham parish boundary map. Distances are calculated on the basis of a straight-line measurement from the centre of the child's home address to the centre of the school site using a computerised mapping system. The school will admit twins and all siblings from multiple births where one of the children is the last child ranked within the PAN where logistically possible.
Published by the admission authority. Meeting a criterion never guarantees a place — it sets the order places are offered in. Full detail, other entry points and previous years are on the Admissions tab.
