How places were offered at Nantwich Primary Academy, year by year →
When there are more applications than places for 2027-28 (Reception), places are offered in this order of priority. Meeting a higher criterion beats meeting a lower one.
If two applications tie: Where it is identified that there are a limited number of places available and the Governing Body cannot differentiate between the applications using the nearest school criterion (criterion iv) a random allocation tie-breaker will be applied. This may be required for example, where applicants reside in the same block of flats or are children of a multiple birth living at the same address.
Where a criterion is oversubscribed, sub-prioritisation applies: siblings in catchment take priority over siblings outside catchment, with distance order within each sub-group. Waiting lists held until end of autumn term for September intake only, in criteria order.
Published by the admission authority. Meeting a criterion never guarantees a place — it sets the order places are offered in. Full detail, other entry points and previous years are on the Admissions tab.
Same phase, ranked by distance and how closely they match.
