was the furthest place offered for 2024-25 (Year 7). The council's figures don't show whether anyone was refused, so it may not have been a cut-off.
Last distance offered at Neale-Wade Academy, year by year →
When there are more applications than places for 2027-28 (Year 7), places are offered in this order of priority. Meeting a higher criterion beats meeting a lower one.
If two applications tie: In each criterion above, if there are more applicants fulfilling the criterion than there are places available then priority will go to children living nearest the school as measured by a straight line. If the distance between two or more children's home addresses and the school is the same then random allocation will be used, independently verified.
This is an Active Learning Trust document covering several Cambridgeshire schools (Chesterton Primary, Cromwell Community College primary and secondary phases, Earith Primary, Isle of Ely Primary, Kingsfield Primary, Neale-Wade Academy); PAN and criteria reproduced here are those for Neale-Wade Academy specifically. Criterion 'A' in the source ('all-through' automatic Year 7 transfer) applies to Cromwell Community College only and has been omitted as not applicable to Neale-Wade Academy; the remaining criteria (labelled B, C, D in the source) are reproduced above as ranks 1-3. Children with an EHCP naming the school are admitted outside the ordinary oversubscription process.
Published by the admission authority. Meeting a criterion never guarantees a place — it sets the order places are offered in. Full detail, other entry points and previous years are on the Admissions tab.
Same phase, ranked by distance and how closely they match.
