When there are more applications than places for 2027-28 (Year 7), places are offered in this order of priority. Meeting a higher criterion beats meeting a lower one.
If two applications tie: In the case of 2 or more applications that cannot be separated by the oversubscription criteria outlined above, the school will use the distance between the school and a child's home as a tie breaker to decide between applicants. Priority will be given to children who live closest to the school. Distance will be measured in a straight line from the child's home address to the school's front gates on Haycliffe Lane. Where the distance between 2 children's homes and the school is the same, random allocation will be used to decide between them. This process will be independently verified.
Within each of the numbered categories, children will be prioritised according to the distance between the child's permanent home address and the school, measured by a straight line, with those living closer given higher priority.
Published by the admission authority. Meeting a criterion never guarantees a place — it sets the order places are offered in. Full detail, other entry points and previous years are on the Admissions tab.
Same phase, ranked by distance and how closely they match.
