When there are more applications than places for 2027-28 (Year 7), places are offered in this order of priority. Meeting a higher criterion beats meeting a lower one.
If two applications tie: In the event of over-subscription in any of the above criteria, priority will be given to those students obtaining the highest scores. In the event of a tie for the 192nd place, the place will be offered to the girl whose home address is nearest to Parkstone Grammar School. If there are insufficient places to accommodate all applicants and the distance criterion is used, the school will use random allocation for applicants living an equal distance from the school (up to three decimal points) or at the same address or in the same block of flats.
Applications must meet required standard in Consortium entrance tests to be eligible for consideration under these criteria. Late applicants and those who did not test are handled separately after 1 March 2027.
