was the furthest place offered on offer day for 2025-26 (Reception). That is how far the last place reached in ONE year — not a boundary, and not a guarantee. It moves with the number of applicants, so treat it as a guide rather than a line on a map.
Last distance offered at Corpus Christi Catholic Primary School, year by year →
When there are more applications than places for 2027-28 (Reception), places are offered in this order of priority. Meeting a higher criterion beats meeting a lower one.
If two applications tie: Priority will be given to children living closest to the school determined by the shortest distance. The Authority's Geographical Information System (GIS) in use at the time of setting this policy takes the measurement between the address mapping points of the school and the address at which the child lives for most of the week. If distances are equal... a random allocation system will be used to determine the allocation, supervised by an independent person.
Governors will make available a further 4 places at the start of KS2 (Year 3), allocated using the same oversubscription criteria set out in Part One.
Published by the admission authority. Meeting a criterion never guarantees a place — it sets the order places are offered in. Full detail, other entry points and previous years are on the Admissions tab.
