When there are more applications than places for 2022-23 (Reception), places are offered in this order of priority. Meeting a higher criterion beats meeting a lower one.
If two applications tie: Where the last remaining place is to be allocated and two or more children are deemed to live at the same distance from the school the place will be decided by the drawing of lots.
Within categories, where applications exceed places, a further ordered set of tie-break priorities applies: 1) strength of Mass attendance evidence for categories 2 & 3; 2) children living in the parishes of Blackfen and Bexley (places split 80% Our Lady of the Rosary / 20% St John Fisher); 3) sibling on roll; 4) social and medical need; 5) distance from home to school (measured by Bexley Council), with lots drawn for equidistant final places.
Published by the admission authority. Meeting a criterion never guarantees a place — it sets the order places are offered in. Full detail, other entry points and previous years are on the Admissions tab.
