was the furthest place offered on offer day for 2026-27 (Reception). That is how far the last place reached in ONE year — not a boundary, and not a guarantee. It moves with the number of applicants, so treat it as a guide rather than a line on a map.

When there are more applications than places for 2027-28 (Reception), places are offered in this order of priority. Meeting a higher criterion beats meeting a lower one.
If two applications tie: If in any category (6.1 – 6.8 above) there are more qualifying applicants than places, priority will be granted according to the proximity of the child's home to the School's main gate in Hale Lane, Edgware, Middlesex, HA8 8NX. Home-to-school distances are measured from the address point for the child's home, supplied by the Post Office, to the School's main gate, using Barnet Local Authority's computerised measuring system. Those living nearer the School's main gate being accorded the higher priority. If there are two (or more) applicants who live in the same block of flats, then those closest to the front door (as per the criteria in 7.1) will have priority.
Barnet Council's composite primary admissions guide for September 2027 entry, the one document that carries its own-admission-authority schools. Admission limit read from word coordinates: the guide sets each label and its value in different columns. The InDesign template default of 60 was present underneath this value in the PDF text layer and was discarded; the figure here is the one printed on the page.
Published by the admission authority. Meeting a criterion never guarantees a place — it sets the order places are offered in. Full detail, other entry points and previous years are on the Admissions tab.
