When there are more applications than places for 2027-28 (Reception), places are offered in this order of priority. Meeting a higher criterion beats meeting a lower one.
If two applications tie: If there are more applications within any given criterion than there are remaining places available, the places will be allocated to children satisfying the relevant criterion who live closest to the school, measured using the nearest available safe walking route via GIS mapping. If distance does not distinguish between two or more applicants with equal priority, random allocation will be used as the final tie-breaker, supervised by someone independent of the school and the Trust.
Children with an EHCP naming the school are admitted first, before oversubscription criteria are applied. Multiple birth siblings provision noted separately from tie-breaker.
Published by the admission authority. Meeting a criterion never guarantees a place — it sets the order places are offered in. Full detail, other entry points and previous years are on the Admissions tab.
Same phase, ranked by distance and how closely they match.
