was the furthest place offered on offer day for 2025-26 (Year 7). That is how far the last place reached in ONE year — not a boundary, and not a guarantee. It moves with the number of applicants, so treat it as a guide rather than a line on a map.
Last distance offered at The Piggott School, year by year →
When there are more applications than places for 2027-28 (Reception), places are offered in this order of priority. Meeting a higher criterion beats meeting a lower one.
If two applications tie: Within each criterion, applicants are ordered by the distance they live from the relevant school site (Charvil Piggott Primary School for Reception, Wargrave Piggott Secondary School for Year 7), measured as a straight line between Land Registry/Gazetteer address points for the home address and the school site, using Wokingham Borough Council's computerised mapping system, with those living closest given priority. If distances between two or more unconnected applications in the same criterion are identical, places are allocated by the drawing of lots, carried out by Wokingham Borough Council.
Children with a Statement of SEN/EHCP naming the relevant Piggott site are always admitted first (stated ahead of the lettered criteria, not itself numbered). Letters A-G are reconstructed from the document's own internal cross-references (e.g. "do not fall into criterion B", and Part 2's "those who are in criterion A, then... criterion B and so on") since the extracted text dropped the leading letter labels; the wording of each criterion is verbatim. The Piggott School (Agape Multi Academy Trust) is an all-through Church of England school for ages 4-18 (since September 2013), comprising Charvil Piggott Primary School (Reception-Y6) and Wargrave Piggott Secondary School (Y7-13); this document sets combined admission arrangements for both sites plus Sixth Form external entry. No faith-practice (e.g. church attendance) criterion is published; priority is by looked-after status, designated-area/sibling, staff, and linked schools only. Criterion F (linked primary schools) is explicitly marked "Secondary admissions only" and does not apply at Reception. Multiple-birth siblings are all admitted as an exception to the Infant Class Size rules, even above the admission number; this exception does not extend to same-school-year but non-multiple-birth children, for whom ties are decided by the drawing of lots.
Published by the admission authority. Meeting a criterion never guarantees a place — it sets the order places are offered in. Full detail, other entry points and previous years are on the Admissions tab.
