was the furthest place offered for 2026-27 (Reception). The council's figures don't show whether anyone was refused, so it may not have been a cut-off.

When there are more applications than places for 2026-27 (Reception), places are offered in this order of priority. Meeting a higher criterion beats meeting a lower one.
If two applications tie: If there are not enough places to satisfy all the applications under any one criterion, priority will be given to those living nearest the School. The School will adopt the measurement system of Wiltshire Local Authority to determine the distance from the School to the Home address. Where two or more applicants live an equal distance from the School and it is not possible to differentiate between them, priority will be determined by random allocation through the drawing of lots supervised by someone independent of the School.
Children with an EHCP naming the school are admitted before the oversubscription criteria apply and reduce the PAN accordingly. The faith criterion applies only to children living outside the Catchment Area (criterion f). A SIF is required for vulnerable children and faith criterion applicants, due by 15 January 2026. Multiple birth siblings may cause PAN to be exceeded where practicable.
Published by the admission authority. Meeting a criterion never guarantees a place — it sets the order places are offered in. Full detail, other entry points and previous years are on the Admissions tab.
