was the furthest place offered for 2026-27 (Reception). The council's figures don't show whether anyone was refused, so it may not have been a cut-off.
Last distance offered at The Priors School, year by year →
When there are more applications than places for 2027-28 (Reception), places are offered in this order of priority. Meeting a higher criterion beats meeting a lower one.
If two applications tie: If, in categories 4-9 above, a tie-break is necessary to determine which child is admitted, the child living closest to the school will be given priority for admission. Distance is measured on a straight line basis using the local authority’s geographical information system (GIS)... In the rare event that two or more children live at exactly the same distance from the school, and there are not enough places for all of them, the place(s) will be allocated by random allocation (lottery).
Children whose Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) names the school will be admitted before oversubscription criteria are applied, reducing places available for other children. Multiple birth siblings tied for the final place will all be admitted, exceeding PAN if necessary. CATCHMENT: Children living in the designated (catchment) area of the school with a sibling on roll at the time of application who will still be attending at the time of entry. Transcribed from the school's own determined admission arrangements as published by Warwickshire County Council school admissions directory. Children with an EHCP naming the school are admitted first; that is a statutory duty, not an oversubscription criterion.
Published by the admission authority. Meeting a criterion never guarantees a place — it sets the order places are offered in. Full detail, other entry points and previous years are on the Admissions tab.
