When there are more applications than places for 2027-28 (Reception), places are offered in this order of priority. Meeting a higher criterion beats meeting a lower one.
If two applications tie: In the event of over subscription, priority will be given to children living closest to the school within each criterion. Where a final place(s) cannot be allocated, as it is impossible to define a difference between applications, the allocation of the final place(s) will be determined by random allocation using a random number generator.
Children with an Education Health Care Plan that names the school will be offered a place first, reducing the number of places available (Note A). Infant class size limit of 30 applies; Junior classes may exceptionally exceed 30 with criteria applied. CATCHMENT: The parishes of Alcester and Arrow (historical parish boundary as now combined with Weethley which is excluded). Alcester properties within the parish of Kinwarton (excluding the hamlet of Kinwarton) are also included. The area of Alcester Warren and Whitemoor Lane in Sambourne Parish to the brook is also included. Transcribed from the school's own determined admission arrangements as published by Warwickshire County Council. Children with an EHCP naming the school are admitted first; that is a statutory duty, not an oversubscription criterion.
Published by the admission authority. Meeting a criterion never guarantees a place — it sets the order places are offered in. Full detail, other entry points and previous years are on the Admissions tab.
Same phase, ranked by distance and how closely they match.
