When there are more applications than places for 2027-28 (Reception), places are offered in this order of priority. Meeting a higher criterion beats meeting a lower one.

1. 1Looked after and previously looked after children — Looked after children and all previously looked after children, including those children who appear (to the admission authority) to have been in state care outside of England and ceased to be in state care because of being adopted.
2. 2Pupil Premium / Early Years Pupil Premium / Service Premium — Children eligible for the Early Years Pupil Premium, Pupil Premium or Service Premium, at the time of making the application, with no more than 14% of the places available to be allocated under this criterion on National Offer Day.
3. 3Child in Need Plan or Child Protection Plan — Children who are currently, or have been at any point since birth, subject to a Child in Need Plan or a Child Protection Plan, with no more than 9% of the places available to be allocated under this criterion on National Offer Day.
4. 4In priority area with a sibling at the school — Children living in the Priority Area for the school, who will have a sibling attending the same school in Year 1 or 2 at the time of admission in September 2027.
5. 5In priority area with sibling at the Partner Junior School — Children living in the Priority Area for the school, who will have a sibling attending the Partner Junior School at the time of admission in September 2027*.
6. 6Other children in the priority area — Other children living in the priority area for the school.
7. 7Outside priority area with a sibling at the school — Children living outside the Priority Area for the school, who will have a sibling attending the same school in Year 1 or 2 at the time of admission in September 2027.
8. 8Outside priority area with sibling at the Partner Junior School — Children living outside the Priority Area for the school, who will have a sibling attending the Partner Junior School at the time of admission in September 2027*.
9. 9Children of staff — Children of Staff who have been employed at the school for two or more years at the time of application for the school place; or recruited to fill a vacant post for which there is a demonstrable skill shortage (see further clarification below)
10. 10Other children outside the priority area — Other children living outside the priority area for the school.

If two applications tie: Where applicants are allocated the same criterion, priority is given in order of distance between the child’s home and the school applied for (shortest distance = highest priority). Distance is a straight-line measurement from the address point location coordinate of the home address (as set by Ordnance Survey) to the centre point (‘centroid’) of the school.

Warwickshire County Council is the admission authority for all community and voluntary controlled schools in Warwickshire. Determined arrangements 2027/28, infant schools (Reception entry). Children with an EHCP naming the school are admitted first; this is not an oversubscription criterion.
