When there are more applications than places for 2026-27 (Year 7), places are offered in this order of priority. Meeting a higher criterion beats meeting a lower one.

1. 1Looked after children and previously looked after children — Children in the care of, or provided with accommodation by, a local authority within England, and children who were looked after, but ceased to be so because they were adopted (or became subject to a child arrangements order or special guardianship order);
2. 2Adopted children not covered by 1a — Children who have been adopted, either through a local authority or through a voluntary adoption agency that is registered with CVAA UK. This category applies to all adoptions which do not fit within Category 1a, including those which take place outside of English law
3. 3Sibling in priority area — Children living in the priority area who will have a sibling at the school at the time of admission;
4. 4Other children in priority area — Other children living in the priority area;
5. 5Sibling outside priority area — Children living outside the priority area who will have a sibling at the school at the time of admission;
6. 6Children attending a Stowe Valley MAT school — Children who attend a school which at the time of processing of the application for a place, is part of the Stowe Valley Multi Academy Trust;
7. 7Children of staff at Oakley School — Children of staff employed at Oakley School: a) where the member of staff has been employed at the school for two or more years at the time at which the application for admission to the school is made, and/or b) the member of staff is recruited to fill a vacant post for which there is a demonstrable skill shortage.
8. 8Other children outside priority area — Other children living outside the priority area.

If two applications tie: Where applicants are allocated the same criterion, priority is given in order of distance between the child’s home and the school applied for (shortest distance = highest priority). Where distances are identical, priority is determined by a random number generator allocation.

PAN for Reception is 30 (Reception priority area not yet defined); this extraction covers the Year 7 entry criteria.
