was the furthest place offered for 2026-27 (Reception). The council's figures don't show whether anyone was refused, so it may not have been a cut-off.
Last distance offered at Arley Primary Academy, year by year →
When there are more applications than places for 2027-28 (Reception), places are offered in this order of priority. Meeting a higher criterion beats meeting a lower one.
If two applications tie: If it is not possible to meet all of the requests in any one of the categories described above, the Trust will prioritise the requests based on the distance to the school. A straight-line measurement will be made, using a computerized mapping system, from the centre of the child's residence - to the centre of the preferred school site. The shortest measurement will have the highest priority. Where the final place in a year group can be taken by two or more children living an equal distance from the school, the Trust, overseen independently, will select by drawing lots.
All applicants with an Education, Health and Care Plan which names the school must be admitted before places are allocated using the oversubscription criteria. Children of UK service personnel and other Crown Servants will be treated as meeting the residency criteria for a catchment area once proof of posting has been provided. CATCHMENT: Children who live in the catchment area served by the school... The area served by a school is known as the catchment area and details of specific catchment areas are available on our individual academy websites. Transcribed from the school's own determined admission arrangements as published by Warwickshire County Council school admissions directory. Children with an EHCP naming the school are admitted first; that is a statutory duty, not an oversubscription criterion. This document is a single trust/diocesan policy covering 2 schools; the criteria above are the ones it prints for this school.
Published by the admission authority. Meeting a criterion never guarantees a place — it sets the order places are offered in. Full detail, other entry points and previous years are on the Admissions tab.
