When there are more applications than places for 2027-28 (Year 7), places are offered in this order of priority. Meeting a higher criterion beats meeting a lower one.

If two applications tie: If there is oversubscription within a category, the governing body will give priority firstly to children who will have a brother or sister attending St Francis of Assisi Catholic College at the time of admission and then secondly to children living closest to the school determined by the shortest distance. In a very small number of cases where distance is exactly the same, the Governing Body will randomly select the child to be offered the final place.

Parish boundaries are as shown on the Archdiocese of Birmingham parish boundary map. Distance measured in a straight line from centre point of home address to centre point of school address using the Local Authority's computerised measuring system. The school also has a sixth form with its own oversubscription criteria.

Published by the admission authority. Meeting a criterion never guarantees a place — it sets the order places are offered in. Full detail, other entry points and previous years are on the Admissions tab.
