When there are more applications than places for 2026-27 (Reception), places are offered in this order of priority. Meeting a higher criterion beats meeting a lower one.
If two applications tie: Priority determined by straight-line distance from home to school as measured by Tower Hamlets Council’s Geographical Information System; for flats, number of floors from ground level used first, then distance to nearest direct access to ground floor; where distances are identical, random allocation is used, with siblings of multiple births admitted together.
Criteria are split into two ordered sets: an initial set (LAC/PLAC/IAPLAC, medical/social need, staff children) applied first; remaining places then allocated via a second ordered set (sibling, parish, deanery, outside deanery) reflecting the school's Christian character. Children with an EHCP are admitted separately by the Local Authority before the normal admission round, reducing places available to other applicants.
