When there are more applications than places for 2027-28 (Year 3), places are offered in this order of priority. Meeting a higher criterion beats meeting a lower one.

4. 4Siblings — Children who will have a sibling at Wallace Fields Infant School or Wallace Fields Junior School on the date of their admission
5. 5Children attending Wallace Fields Infant School — Children attending Wallace Fields Infant School. This criterion will only apply to children who attend Wallace Fields Infant School in Year 2 and will not be applied once a child has left this school
6. 6Any other children

If two applications tie: Where more children qualify under a criterion than there are places left, the remaining places go to those living nearest, measured to the nearest official school gate at either Wallace Fields Infant School or Wallace Fields Junior School.

Surrey County Council is the admission authority for community and voluntary controlled schools and determines these arrangements. This school does not use the county’s standard list — Surrey sets school-specific criteria for it in section 8 of the arrangements. Both the exceptional social or medical need priority and the children-of-staff priority need their own supplementary form returned by the closing date, or they are not applied. At this school, a brother or sister already at the school ranks above attending Wallace Fields Infant School. That infant-school priority only counts while the child is in Year 2 there; it stops applying once they have left.
