was the furthest place offered on offer day for 2026-27 (Reception). That is how far the last place reached in ONE year — not a boundary, and not a guarantee. It moves with the number of applicants, so treat it as a guide rather than a line on a map.
Last distance offered at Sayes Court School, year by year →
When there are more applications than places for 2027-28 (Reception), places are offered in this order of priority. Meeting a higher criterion beats meeting a lower one.
If two applications tie: If within any criterion there are more children than places available, any remaining places will be offered to children who meet the criterion on the basis of proximity of the child's home address to the school, with children living nearest receiving the greater priority. Distance will be measured in a straight line from the address point of the child's home address, as set by the Ordnance Survey, to the nearest official school gate for pupils to use. Where two or more children share priority for a place, for example, where two children live equidistant from a school, Sayes Court Primary School will use random allocation to determine which child should be given priority and this will be supervised by someone independent of the school.
Sayes Court Nursery has a separate admissions policy. The waiting list will be maintained until the end of summer term 2028. In-year admissions are managed by Surrey County Council Admissions service.
Published by the admission authority. Meeting a criterion never guarantees a place — it sets the order places are offered in. Full detail, other entry points and previous years are on the Admissions tab.
