When there are more applications than places for 2027-28 (Reception), places are offered in this order of priority. Meeting a higher criterion beats meeting a lower one.
If two applications tie: If within any criterion there are more children than places available, any remaining places will be offered to children who meet the criterion on the basis of proximity of the child's home address to the academy, with children living nearest receiving the greater priority. Distance will be measured in a straight line from the address point of the child's home address, as set by Ordnance Survey, to the nearest official academy gate for pupils to use. Where two or more children share a priority for a place, e.g. where two children live equidistant from an academy, the Local Authority Admission Team will determine which child should be given priority by using a computer generated number that is assigned randomly to each applicant, with the child assigned the lower number receiving the higher priority.
This document covers multiple academies within The Kite Academy Trust. PANs are listed per school: Cross Farm Infant 30, The Ferns Primary 30, Folly Hill Infant 30, The Grove Primary 60, Hale Nursery & Primary 30, Holly Lodge Primary 60, Lakeside Nursery & Primary 60, Mytchett Primary & Nursery 30, Sandringham Infant & Nursery 60. Feeder school criterion (rank 5) applies only to Year 3 entry for selected through-primary academies. The Ferns Primary has a catchment area criterion (rank 5) instead of feeder schools. Cross Farm Infant and Sandringham Infant & Nursery do not have a rank 5 criterion. Year 3 PANs also listed per school.
Published by the admission authority. Meeting a criterion never guarantees a place — it sets the order places are offered in. Full detail, other entry points and previous years are on the Admissions tab.
