When there are more applications than places for 2026-27 (Reception), places are offered in this order of priority. Meeting a higher criterion beats meeting a lower one.
If two applications tie: Where children have identical ranking, priority will be determined by random allocation.
Within each of the over-subscription categories, priority is further given to (i) children with a brother or sister at the school at time of enrolment, then (ii) children of a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic School staff employed for two or more consecutive years, or recruited to fill a vacant post with a demonstrable skills shortage, before the tie-break (random allocation) is applied.
