When there are more applications than places for 2025-26 (Reception), places are offered in this order of priority. Meeting a higher criterion beats meeting a lower one.
If two applications tie: In the event that two applications are exactly the same after all other criteria have been taken into account a tie breaker will be used. This will be by random allocation and overseen by an independent party not connected with the admissions process.
Children with a Statement of Special Educational Needs or Education and Health Care Plan which names the Trust school will be allocated places before the oversubscription criteria are applied. Distances measured as straight-line on a computerised mapping system. Sibling defined as brother or sister, step-brother or stepsister, half-brother or half-sister living at the same address as part of the same family unit and of compulsory school age (5–16); adopted siblings included. Cousins or other relatives taking up residence to establish an in-catchment address are excluded from sibling priority.
