How places were offered at The King's (The Cathedral) School, year by year →
When there are more applications than places for 2027-28 (Year 7), places are offered in this order of priority. Meeting a higher criterion beats meeting a lower one.
If two applications tie: If at any stage, a tiebreaker is required, places will be allocated to the child(ren) living close(st) to the School as indicated by a straight line from the seed point of the school (The King's (The Cathedral) School - Eastings: 519435, Northings: 299666) to the seed point of the child’s home, as calculated using Peterborough City Council’s measuring process. If this system cannot separate two or more applications, these applications will be further ranked by lottery.
A child with an Education Health and Care Plan naming the school will be admitted if the school can meet their needs, and the number of places within the PAN will reduce accordingly; this is separate from the ranked oversubscription criteria which begins with Looked After Children.
Published by the admission authority. Meeting a criterion never guarantees a place — it sets the order places are offered in. Full detail, other entry points and previous years are on the Admissions tab.
Same phase, ranked by distance and how closely they match.
