When there are more applications than places for 2027-28 (Year 7), places are offered in this order of priority. Meeting a higher criterion beats meeting a lower one.
If two applications tie: Where more than one child meets these criteria and applicants still remain then the child living nearest to the school will be admitted. All distances will be measured by the shortest walking distance (using the Council's Geographical Information System) between the nearest available school gate and the point where the child's home meets the public highway.
Local-authority coordinated default oversubscription criteria for Pembrokeshire County Council's community and voluntary-controlled schools (the council is the admission authority). Some community/voluntary-controlled schools in this authority apply catchment-area, feeder-school or priority-area variants — check the individual school for its exact arrangements. Document notes pupils with a statement of SEN naming a particular school will be admitted to that school outside oversubscription criteria consideration; catchment areas and feeder school clusters vary by school. Voluntary Aided schools set their own arrangements and are excluded from this default list.
Published by the admission authority. Meeting a criterion never guarantees a place — it sets the order places are offered in. Full detail, other entry points and previous years are on the Admissions tab.
Same phase, ranked by distance and how closely they match.
