was the furthest place offered on offer day for 2026-27 (Year 7). That is how far the last place reached in ONE year — not a boundary, and not a guarantee. It moves with the number of applicants, so treat it as a guide rather than a line on a map.
Last distance offered at Wood Green School, year by year →
When there are more applications than places for 2027-28 (Year 7), places are offered in this order of priority. Meeting a higher criterion beats meeting a lower one.
If two applications tie: In categories 4 to 12, priority will first be given to children eligible for Service Pupil Premium, and then to children who live closest to the school by the straight-line distance as calculated by Oxfordshire County Council. If the distance tie-break produces an identical result for two or more applicants living at different addresses (and not children of a multiple birth), the Local Authority will use random allocation.
Admission numbers are published per year group for 2027-28: Year 7 = 240, Year 8 = 240, Year 9 = 240, Year 10 = 240, Year 11 = 240; the PAN for the normal admissions round is the Year 7 figure. Criteria 4 and 5 are printed with near-identical wording in the source document ('one of the partnership schools in the Trust' vs 'one of the designated partnership schools') — both are reproduced here exactly as printed since no further distinction is given; feeder_schools above lists the 8 other 'Trust Schools' (Wood Green School itself is the 9th, omitted here) plus the 8 'Designated Catchment Schools'. Children with an EHC Plan naming the school are always admitted; the document explicitly states this is not itself an oversubscription criterion.
Published by the admission authority. Meeting a criterion never guarantees a place — it sets the order places are offered in. Full detail, other entry points and previous years are on the Admissions tab.
