Distance did not decide places here
Every applicant who applied on time was offered a place for 2026-27 (Reception), so there was no cut-off distance. This changes from year to year; check the current year's figures before relying on it.
Last distance offered at West Kidlington Primary and Nursery School, year by year →
When there are more applications than places for 2022-23 (Reception), places are offered in this order of priority. Meeting a higher criterion beats meeting a lower one.
Published by Oxfordshire County Council on the school's own admissions page (Starting Reception year group in Primary or Infant School - 2022/23 ( places allocated on 19 April 2022 )). The figure beside each rule is the number of places offered under it. The admissions criteria are given below (in descending order of priority) together with the number of places offered under that criterion. The responsibility for deciding on over-subscription criteria rests with the Admissions Authority (the Academy Trust or the school's Governors). Please contact the school for further information about this. Home-to-school distances measured using: Straight Line distance. Last place offered under "5. Any child other than those falling in category 1-4" at 1.307 miles.
Published by the admission authority. Meeting a criterion never guarantees a place — it sets the order places are offered in. Full detail, other entry points and previous years are on the Admissions tab.
