When there are more applications than places for 2027-28 (Year 3), places are offered in this order of priority. Meeting a higher criterion beats meeting a lower one.

1. 1Looked after and previously looked after children — Looked after children and previously looked after children, including those children who appear (to the admission authority) to have been in state care outside of England and ceased to be in state care as a result of being adopted.
2. 2Catchment + linked infant school + sibling — Children who live in the catchment area at the closing date for applications and attend the linked infant school (Toton Banks Road Infant and Nursery School) and who, at the time of admission, will have a brother or sister attending the school or the linked infant school (Toton Banks Road Infant and Nursery School).
3. 3Catchment + linked infant school — Other children who live in the catchment area at the closing date for applications and attend the linked infant school (Toton Banks Road Infant and Nursery School).
4. 4Catchment + not linked infant school + sibling — Children who live in the catchment area at the closing date for applications who do not attend the linked infant school (Toton Banks Road Infant and Nursery School), but who at the time of admission, will have a brother or sister attending the school or the linked school (Toton Banks Road Infant and Nursery School).
5. 5Catchment + not linked infant school — Other children who live in the catchment area at the closing date for applications and do not attend the linked infant school (Toton Banks Road Infant and Nursery School).
6. 6Outside catchment + linked infant school + sibling — Children who live outside the catchment area but attend the linked infant school (Toton Banks Road Infant and Nursery School) and who, at the time of admission, will have a brother or sister attending the school or the linked infant school (Toton Banks Road Infant and Nursery School).
7. 7Outside catchment + linked infant school — Children who live outside the catchment area but attend the linked infant school (Toton Banks Road Infant and Nursery School).
8. 8Outside catchment + not linked infant school + sibling — Children who live outside the catchment area and who do not attend the linked infant school (Toton Banks Road Infant and Nursery School) but who, at the time of admission, will have a brother or sister attending the school or the linked infant school (Toton Banks Road Infant and Nursery School).
9. 9Other children — Other children.

If two applications tie: Priority will be given to children who live nearest to the school as the crow flies (by straight line). Distances are measured from the main administrative entrance to the home address point using local authority's computerised distance measuring software. In the event of two distances being equal the measurement will be taken from the next decimal point. If the measurements remain equal, lots will be drawn and the process will be independently verified by someone independent of the school.

Admission is into Year 3. Special consideration may be given (above all but the first numbered criterion) to children with particular medical, mobility, SEN or social circumstances supported by written professional evidence presented at time of application. Multiple birth: if one child of a multiple birth can be admitted, the other(s) will also be admitted.
