When there are more applications than places for 2027-28 (Year 3), places are offered in this order of priority. Meeting a higher criterion beats meeting a lower one.
If two applications tie: Criteria 5 is also used as a tie-breaker. Whenever two children have the same priority based on criteria 5.3 or 5.4, for example, then the child who lives closest to the school will be given the higher priority. In the event of two applications for one vacancy using the sibling criterion, the authority will apply a tie breaker decision based on geographical distance.
After admission of children with an EHCP naming the school, priority is given to applicants who have actually applied over those fulfilling criteria without applying. Twins/triplets special cases referred to allocation panel if one is eligible and other(s) not.
