When there are more applications than places for 2027-28 (Year 7), places are offered in this order of priority. Meeting a higher criterion beats meeting a lower one.
If two applications tie: Where two or more applicants live an equal distance from the academy and it is not possible to differentiate between them, priority will be determined by a random allocation process. This process will be independently verified by someone independent of the academy and OAT.
Where not enough places to satisfy all applications under any one criterion, priority given in accordance with proximity to the academy (used as a tie-breaker between the two ranked criteria, not itself a separately numbered ranked criterion).
