5Travelling distance — Travelling distance from the school. This includes all children including those entitled to pupil premium who failed to make the quota under point 5 above.

If two applications tie: Should there be a 'tie' between two or more applicants for a place in any category then the decision is made by random allocation. Each tied applicant is allocated a unique number and the Chair of the appeals committee is invited to select 1 number, unseen.

Children with an EHCP naming the school are admitted first, before oversubscription criteria are applied, as noted in the document but not itself numbered as a criterion. A separate but identically ordered set of criteria is published for In Year Admissions.

Published by the admission authority. Meeting a criterion never guarantees a place — it sets the order places are offered in. Full detail, other entry points and previous years are on the Admissions tab.
