When there are more applications than places for 2025-26 (Reception), places are offered in this order of priority. Meeting a higher criterion beats meeting a lower one.
If two applications tie: Remaining places will be awarded according to the proximity of the child's main residence to the main entrance of New Chapter Primary School. This is measured in a straight line from the front door of the child's home to the school's main entrance gate using the Local Authority's computerised measuring system, with those living closer to the school receiving higher priority.
PAN is 30 for EYFS (Reception), Years 1–5 and 50 for Year 6. Defined area covers Coffee Hall, Leadenhall and Beanhill. Multiple births: if one place remains and next child is part of a multiple birth group, all siblings in the group are admitted even if above PAN.
Published by the admission authority. Meeting a criterion never guarantees a place — it sets the order places are offered in. Full detail, other entry points and previous years are on the Admissions tab.
Same phase, ranked by distance and how closely they match.
