When there are more applications than places for 2027-28 (Year 7), places are offered in this order of priority. Meeting a higher criterion beats meeting a lower one.
If two applications tie: If any of the above categories is oversubscribed, the tie-break will be straight line distance and the child living closer to the school will be offered the place. If the distance criterion is not sufficient to distinguish between two and more applicants for the last place, all will be considered together as one application and the school will go above its normal admission number. The governors regard the onus of proof of religious affiliation to rest with the parents and carers of a child.
