was the furthest place offered on offer day for 2024-25 (Reception). That is how far the last place reached in ONE year — not a boundary, and not a guarantee. It moves with the number of applicants, so treat it as a guide rather than a line on a map.
Last distance offered at Stafford Leys Community Primary School, year by year →
When there are more applications than places for 2025-26 (Reception), places are offered in this order of priority. Meeting a higher criterion beats meeting a lower one.
If two applications tie: If two or more applications have identical ranking following applying all the above criteria in priority order, lots will be drawn. The drawing of lots will be undertaken by an independent person, not an employee of the trust, trustee or member of the school Local Advisory Board.
Catchment area map referenced as Appendix 1 but not included in the document. Late applications considered after on-time applications; applications beyond 4 weeks post-closing date cannot be considered under exceptional grounds. Reception last distance offered, Leicestershire CC FOI disclosure log (OGL v3), county-wide per-school releases 2016-2024 (miles, straight-line; 2016 values rounded UP to whole miles per council statement; <5 suppressions preserved).
Published by the admission authority. Meeting a criterion never guarantees a place — it sets the order places are offered in. Full detail, other entry points and previous years are on the Admissions tab.
