When there are more applications than places for 2027-28 (Reception), places are offered in this order of priority. Meeting a higher criterion beats meeting a lower one.
If two applications tie: In the event of tie, meaning that two or more applications are unable to be separated, we will allocate to those applicants who live the closest distance to the school as defined in criterion (g) above. In the event that applicants cannot be separated using the distance tiebreaker (i.e. they live identical distances from the school) the allocation of a place will be by the drawing of lots. The randomising process is independently supervised.
Criterion (b) (continuing pupils) is stated to apply to transfer into Year 7 and Year 12, not Reception entry, but is printed as part of the single ordered criteria list applied Academy-wide.
Published by the admission authority. Meeting a criterion never guarantees a place — it sets the order places are offered in. Full detail, other entry points and previous years are on the Admissions tab.
