was the furthest place offered for 2026-27 (Year 3). The council's figures don't show whether anyone was refused, so it may not have been a cut-off.
Last distance offered at Tenterden Church of England Junior School, year by year →
When there are more applications than places for 2027-28 (Year 3), places are offered in this order of priority. Meeting a higher criterion beats meeting a lower one.
If two applications tie: Nearness of the child’s home to the school, measured by Kent County Council in a straight line using NLPG address points as set out in the final criterion.
Tenterden Schools Trust is the admission authority for this school, so these rules are set by the trust rather than by Kent County Council. Children with an Education, Health and Care Plan naming the school are admitted first, which reduces the number of places left. Children at Tenterden Infant School, the linked infant school in the same federation, have priority for transfer into Year 3, ranked second after children in local authority care.
Published by the admission authority. Meeting a criterion never guarantees a place — it sets the order places are offered in. Full detail, other entry points and previous years are on the Admissions tab.
