2Social and Medical need — Priority will be given in exceptional circumstances to a small number of children whose mental or physical impairment means they have a demonstrable and significant need to attend this school over any other. Supporting evidence in the form of a letter from a doctor or social worker or other relevant qualified, independent professional, would be required.

7Any other children — In the case of other children who apply to join the school, priority will be given to children whose home address is closest to the school.

If two applications tie: Where the application of the above criteria results in a situation where there are more children with an equal right to admission to the school than the number of available places, the tiebreak will be the straight line distance measurement... When there is a need for a final tie-break the random number is used to allocate the place, with the lowest number given priority.

The school will admit any pupils with an Education, Health and Care plan naming the school before applying the numbered criteria (not itself numbered).

Published by the admission authority. Meeting a criterion never guarantees a place — it sets the order places are offered in. Full detail, other entry points and previous years are on the Admissions tab.
