was the furthest place offered on offer day for 2026-27 (Reception). That is how far the last place reached in ONE year — not a boundary, and not a guarantee. It moves with the number of applicants, so treat it as a guide rather than a line on a map.
Last distance offered at Larmenier & Sacred Heart Catholic Primary School, year by year →
When there are more applications than places for 2027-28 (Reception), places are offered in this order of priority. Meeting a higher criterion beats meeting a lower one.
If two applications tie: Where the school becomes oversubscribed within any of the above categories, priority will be given to children living closest to the school. Distance will be measured using the shortest 'straight line' distance, from the 'seed point' (a central point) of the child's home address (including flats) to the main entrance of the school at 41a Brook Green, Hammersmith, London W6 7BL, using the local authority's computerised measuring system. If two or more applications are received from the same block of flats, the applicant with the lower door number will be classed as nearest and offered a place because they are likely to be closer to the ground floor and, therefore, the school. In the event of distances being the same for two or more children, where this would determine the last place to be allocated, random allocation will be carried out by the local authority's computerised allocation system.
Within each of categories 1-9, the Governing Board will give top priority in the following numerical order: 1. Children who will have a brother or sister at the school in September 2027; 2. Children eligible for the Early Years Pupil Premium or the Pupil Premium; 3. The proximity of the child's home to the school. The admission authority will, where logistically possible, admit twins and all siblings from multiple births where one of the children is the last child ranked within the school's PAN.
Published by the admission authority. Meeting a criterion never guarantees a place — it sets the order places are offered in. Full detail, other entry points and previous years are on the Admissions tab.
