When there are more applications than places for 2026-27 (Reception), places are offered in this order of priority. Meeting a higher criterion beats meeting a lower one.
If two applications tie: In the event of oversubscription within any of the above criteria, priority will be determined by distance from home to school. Distances are calculated by the Local Authority by use of a Geographical Information System which accurately measures the distance from the home address to the school. Those living closest to the school are given the highest priority.
