Last distance offered at Limes Farm Infant School and Nursery, year by year →
When there are more applications than places for 2027-28 (Reception), places are offered in this order of priority. Meeting a higher criterion beats meeting a lower one.
If two applications tie: In the event of oversubscription within any of the above criteria, priority will be determined by straight line distance from home to school, those living closest being given the highest priority. In the unlikely event of two applicants with an identical distance competing for a single place at the school the place will be offered to one applicant on the basis of lots drawn by a person independent person to the admissions process with the exception of twins, triplets etc.
All children with a Statement of Special Educational Needs or an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) that name the school on the statement / plan are required to be admitted to the school regardless of their place in the priority order. Twins/triplets will be admitted even if it exceeds PAN if the last place goes to a twin/multiple birth.
Published by the admission authority. Meeting a criterion never guarantees a place — it sets the order places are offered in. Full detail, other entry points and previous years are on the Admissions tab.
