When there are more applications than places for 2027-28 (Reception), places are offered in this order of priority. Meeting a higher criterion beats meeting a lower one.
If two applications tie: Within each criterion, preference is given in order: (a) Siblings of children who will attend St. Bridget's School at the time of admission; (b) Children of staff who have been employed at St. Bridget's School for two or more years or who have been recruited to meet the school's particular skills shortage; (c) Applicants living nearest to the school, measured as the shortest walking route from the centre of the pupil's home to the nearest entrance on the school site using the Local Authority's computerised Geographical Information System.
All children with a Statement of Special Educational Needs or an Education, Health and Care Plan naming the school will be admitted before the application of the oversubscription criteria. Supplementary Information Form must be completed for faith criteria to be applied. The waiting list will be closed at the end of the Autumn term.
