was the furthest place offered on offer day for 2026-27 (Reception). That is how far the last place reached in ONE year — not a boundary, and not a guarantee. It moves with the number of applicants, so treat it as a guide rather than a line on a map.

When there are more applications than places for 2025-26 (Reception), places are offered in this order of priority. Meeting a higher criterion beats meeting a lower one.
If two applications tie: Where there are more applications than places remaining in any of the oversubscription categories, the order in which places will be allocated will be determined by the distance between the child's home address (as defined by this policy) and the School, with those living nearest receiving highest priority. Distance will be measured using the National Land and Property Gazetteer (NLPG) which measures in a straight line from the School's coordinate point to the coordinate point for the child's home address in miles. Where two or more children live an equal distance from the School (including where they live in the same multi-dwelling building), the order in which places are allocated will be determined by random allocation supervised by someone who is independent of the School.
The document title states '2025-2026 Intake' but section 10.4 references an application deadline of 15th January 2024 and section 17.4 references determination for the September 2024 intake, suggesting some inconsistency in the document. The cohort_start_year is taken from the document title (2025). Children with EHC plans are admitted before all other applicants under separate statutory procedures, reducing places available within the PAN.
Published by the admission authority. Meeting a criterion never guarantees a place — it sets the order places are offered in. Full detail, other entry points and previous years are on the Admissions tab.
