was the furthest place offered on offer day for 2026-27 (Reception). That is how far the last place reached in ONE year — not a boundary, and not a guarantee. It moves with the number of applicants, so treat it as a guide rather than a line on a map.
Last distance offered at Clifton All Saints Academy, year by year →
When there are more applications than places for 2026-27 (Reception), places are offered in this order of priority. Meeting a higher criterion beats meeting a lower one.
If two applications tie: The tie break will be the distance the pupil lives from the Academy, measured in a straight line, using the CBC's computerised mapping system, with those living closer to the Academy receiving the higher priority. The distance will be measured from the address point of the pupil's home to the main entrance of the Academy. In the event of (a) two or more children living at the same address point (e.g. children resident in a block of flats) or (b) two addresses measuring the same distance from the Academy, the ultimate tie-breaker will be random selection, using CBC's Academy Admissions Team database to allocate the place.
Pupils with an Education, Health and Care Plan are admitted to the named Academy before oversubscription criteria are applied. Pupils identified for admission through the Fair Access Protocol are also admitted even if the Academy is full. Where a twin or multiple birth child is offered the last available place, the other twin or multiple birth(s) will be offered a place as an exception to the infant class size rule.
Published by the admission authority. Meeting a criterion never guarantees a place — it sets the order places are offered in. Full detail, other entry points and previous years are on the Admissions tab.
