When there are more applications than places for 2027-28 (Year 7), places are offered in this order of priority. Meeting a higher criterion beats meeting a lower one.

1. 1Children named in Statement of SEN / LA IDP — Children for whom the school is named in a Statement of Special Educational Needs or a Local Authority Individual Development Plan (IDP).
2. 2Looked After / Previously Looked After Children — Looked After Children and Previously Looked After Children.
3. 3Catchment area with sibling — Children who live in the school's catchment area and have an older sibling attending the school from the same address at the time of application.
4. 4Catchment area without sibling — Children who live in the school's catchment area and do not have an older sibling attending the school.
5. 5Outside catchment with sibling — Children who live outside the school's catchment area but have an older sibling attending the school from the same address at the time of application.
6. 6Outside catchment without sibling — Children who live outside the school's catchment area and do not have an older sibling attending the school.

If two applications tie: If there are more applications than places available within any of the priority groups, places are normally allocated to those who live closest to the school, measured using the Council's Geographic Information System (GIS).
